Spring is the Perfect Time for Liver Support! Eat and Drink your Beets!

How do you think is your liver working these days? Is your liver sluggish? Are you experiencing any hormone imbalance or allergies?

These symptoms can be signs that your liver is not working quite well and it’s time to support your liver by giving it some necessary attention.

The liver removes toxins and other harmful substances from our body. Healthy liver allows our body to be healthy and helps us eliminate the toxins, which can be very damaging to our body. For this reason, we should love our liver and do everything possible to help your liver function properly.

One of the best detoxifiers is the beet. Beets are one of my favorite vegetables in the world. I come from Poland and beets are very popular there. We use it in a lot of recipes and eat them often. My grandma knew what is best!! Beets have been used for centuries to help liver function at optimal level.

Beets they are a high-antioxidant vegetable that contains: fiber (helps eliminate the toxins), iron, folate, phosphorous, vitamin C, betanin, and betaine (encourages the liver cells to get rid of toxins). Beets are great for stamina; healthy heart reduces inflammation as well as

Detox and hormone health are tightly connected. If your liver is not excreting toxins properly, your hormones will be out of balance. The state of your liver is essential for the conversion of your thyroid hormone as well as clearing excess of estrogen. Betaine in beets act as  methylator, which helps excrete estrogen from the body. Methyl groups are necessary for removing harmful estrogens.

Here is a recipe for my favorite beet juice:

2 beets

1 cucumber

1 inch of ginger

¼ cup of cilantro

½ lemon with ring
